"This hobbit was a very well-to-do hobbit, and his name was Baggins. The Bagginses had lived in the neighbourhood of The Hill for time out of mind, and people considered them very respectable, not only because most of them were rich, but also because they never had any adventures or did anything unexpected: you could tell what a Baggins would say on any question without the bother of asking him. This is a story of how a Baggins had an adventure, and found himself doing and saying things altogether unexpected. He may have lost the neighbours’ respect, but he gained—well, you will see whether he gained anything in the end."

Our journey begins with a burst of bergamot, sharp and invigorating - the first breath of freedom, the excitement of new horizons.

Wandering ever deeper, the warmth of clove and labdanum - resinous and rugged, carries the whispers of secret places and forgotten kingdoms, of ancient paths now rarely traveled. This is the heart of our adventure: the hardships and the triumphs, the moments of doubt and determination.

Lavender and rose petals bring brief moments of calm, like the fleeting beauty of Elven lands or the comfort of a warm fire in the wilderness. They are the soft memories of home, the reminders of love and safety that carry us through the darkest of forests and the most perilous of mountains.

As the journey comes to an end, notes of worn leather and sweet tobacco leaves weave through ancient maps unrolled on tabletops and evenings spent by the fireside, lost in tales of dragons and treasure, quill in hand. The warm embrace of amber settles in around the satisfaction of home and hearth and the gentle glow of the Shire at sunset.

There and Back Again was designed as an ode to a very unexpected journey, to comfort and courage, from the Shire to the very depths of the lonely mountain - and back again.
